Been meaning to shoot this for a while and finally got around to it the other night, This is the first sort of long exposure night shots I have done.
 Not quite the final image I was after but I think it looks pretty cool.

Finally a place that prints images well!

Since I have been doing photography I was always happy with looking at my images on screen and posting them to various photography websites (flickr,myshutterspace) for feedback.  It was only when someone asked if I could do a shoot for them that I thought "where do I get the images printed?"   I hadn't really looked into getting the images in print before, Where do I go?,  So off I went to my local Jessops store ordered some prints and hey, They were awful! Not what I was expecting they had cropped about an inch off one side! So I went into boots and also had the same problem, I wasn't very happy. So I searched the internet for a mail order printers and found a company called Digilabs so I sent the image files off to them through their online system and hey presto some amazing perfect prints were delivered in a well packaged package, Very happy! wish I had found out about them before I started offering people prints as I have let a couple of people down, oh well make up time now, here is the image I had printed by Digilabs.  

Indian eagle owl

This was taken at the Suffolk dog show a couple of months back, Its a very good looking Indian eagle owl, I originally shot a full body image of the bird but it just looked rather like a "typical" record shot,  I shot a few more with the finished image in mind done a little cropping on my editing program and hey this is it!

1st Published picture!

This was a challenging shot, the frog was behind about an inch of glass in very low strange lighting, I was lucky enough to have this image published in a London guide Booklet/website which of course i was very happy with!

1st blog 1st post!

Hi and welcome to my blog, On this blog I will be uploading some of my favourite pictures from old and recent shoots I have been on. This image is my first upload on here and I am really proud of it, is has also been entered into a Photography competition (Friends of Banham zoo) and im very much looking forward to results on or around the 25th of this month.
